The JopChi Manifesto

JopChi is not built to compete for every moment of your attention.

Twice a day, a rift opens. Two words are hidden within it. You have seven guesses and one decisive split to reveal them both and close the rift.

Then the board becomes still.

There are no endless levels demanding to be completed, no season to keep up with and no pressure to turn a quiet achievement into a public performance. JopChi keeps your record, but leaves you in control of what it means and whether you share it.

Beneath every puzzle is an original musical score created to make those few minutes feel distinct. It is not background noise or a soundtrack competing for attention. It is a changing atmosphere—present enough to give the puzzle character, yet restrained enough to leave room to think. It arrives with the rift and leaves when you do.

JopChi lives comfortably on the screen in your pocket. It is patient about signing in, respectful of your time and ready for two brief appointments each day.

It is also designed from the beginning for the many different ways people see, hear, move, read and play. Color supports the experience, but never carries essential meaning alone. Text can grow. Motion can be reduced. Contrast can be strengthened. Sound, touch, keyboard and switch controls can offer different paths across the same board.

Accessibility is not an extra feature added after the game is finished. It is part of how JopChi is made. Our ambition is to create a word game worthy of recognition for inclusive design—not because everyone plays in the same way, but because everyone deserves an equally thoughtful way to play.

If modern software often feels like a floodlight, JopChi is a lamp you aim for yourself.

It does not ask to own your day.

It asks for a few thoughtful minutes—and makes them count.
